About the blog –

I am sure when you are checking this blog consciously, not randomly, you already know why you’re here.

This is a blog related to film making, of course. This is a blog of film making and every possible creative field related to film making.

A simplistic attempt to express film making, a random attempt to express my perception of film making, which is largely for beginners.

The other things that you will see on this blog will be different from film making but it will be valuable for film making at some point, where and how you just have to notice it.

Here we will cover simple and basics not much of technicalities, even technical aspects are also will be tried to express in a simplistic manner which way a newbie can easily connect with the expressions, once you connect with it, you’ll get it sooner or later. And with this kind of preparation you can move ahead to explore more and more with time as the way you like.

We will talk here on the topic less and less and out of the topic more and more, or more often mix of both.. Now why.. well it’s just me nothing else,  but believe me even you go out of the topic still you’ll feel you are within the topic ( it sounds confusing I know but you’ll get soon ), if you don’t feel that way I’m sorry for that, but if you do then you’ll definitely enjoy it that’s for sure.

We all know the value of time, If in this blog in any way you find it is valuable, then and then only try to read the entire page/post( whatever page/post you’re interested in ).

About me-

Well, there is nothing much special or interesting about me, so to read further be careful, it may be a waste of time or you may hurt yourself, I am warning you like you may step up on a landmine or on a bomb ( that’s an exaggeration). That’s what happens when you enter a film blog page and meet a film writer. Anyway…

I ( Anil Kumar Mahanta ) started writing all this to store the little knowledge that I have( the knowledge that we have, is always little, the knowledge that we still have to learn is limitless, I mean learning has no limits, in every step of our learning, there is a knowledge, that always waiting there to embrace us. ), to help me with my filmmaking, and of course, sharing it with public platform maybe it could help others as well.

If people like it, there is a great feeling of satisfaction, of course ( including economical satisfaction ). I am still a student, not a teacher, and if in case someone does not like it, then still it’s not a hopeless situation because it will help me with my film making.

I started it at some point but I have no idea when and where it will end. Just accepting this – still lot of things to learn, I am moving forward. Mistakes could happen here and there, forgive me if possible, and correct me as well if possible.

Like everybody has their own writing style, I have my own writing style too, throughout time, if you find an Indian expression or flavor within my writing style, don’t be surprised, maybe it’s simply because I am from India and it is my beautiful motherland. Ok then, I guess that would be enough because I have no intention to write an essay about me.
